Mike Middlebrook studied Architecture at Canterbury College of Art.
After graduating in 1985 he worked for Owers and Lumley Architects in Cambridge where he quickly gravitated towards interior projects before moving to Kent working for Sherwood Shopfitters, Retail Environments and JR Cabinetmakers as a Principal Design Consultant. Mike then set up Middlebrook Design in 1989 which later became Motive Interiors in 2001 specialising in bespoke commercial and domestic interiors from one single independent source.
He lives in Hythe in the beautiful Kent countryside and is married with 3 children.
I like to think I never forget the 3 main motives of Design, Value and Function for all of my clients providing them with a unique design which is also practical and within their budget.
